C.K. Alexander and M.N.O. Sadiku, Fundamentals of Electric Circuits, 3rd ed., McGraw-Hill, 2006.

MISCELLANY:

Problem sets are assigned on Wednesdays and collected one week later in class. Laboratory reports are due in CSB 422, by 5 PM one week after the lab session; one report per team for each lab, but both members must sign the reports. Labs are an integral part of this course and the exams will contain materials derived from the labs.

Cellular phones must be silenced in classes or labs

University policy on academic honesty is strictly observed

Writing: Extra sessions on writing will be held throughout the semester. Pay close attention to announcements. Developing good writing skills is an integral part of this course. Participation in writing drills is required for all students.

Late Policy: Late work will not be graded. If serious illness or family emergency prevents you from handing in an assignment on time, contact the instructor as soon as possible to make arrangements. Please do not request special arrangements for any class work to accommodate spring-break travel plans.

Recitation:Participation in recitation is required. Homework problems may be discussed during recitations. You may request review of particular aspects of the class materials or ask questions about specific homework problems or examples. Exams will be returned and reviewed. Writing techniques will be discussed. QUIZZES WILL BE GIVEN.
