Faculty Positions

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Hajim School of Engineering and Applied Sciences invites applications for a faculty opening. Areas of interest include but are not limited to distributed systems and control, emerging energy technologies including nanotechnologies, power electronics, and robotics. Both senior and junior candidates will be considered. The successful candidate is expected to lead a vigorous research program and to teach in the undergraduate and graduate programs of the Department. Presently the ECE Department has 21 faculty members, over 100 Ph.D. students, and an undergraduate student to faculty member ratio that encourages significant undergraduate research participation. The department is engaged in multiple collaborative ventures with other departments and centers throughout the University from the Medical Center to the Eastman School of Music. The region offers multiple opportunities for collaboration with industry and provides a high quality of life.
