All HMF users must be trained and certified before gaining access to the facilities. This training provides a degree of protection for expensive equipment and some of the basic skills essential for success in micromachining and fabrication. Generally speaking, users will be graduate students, who must obtain prior approval from their faculty research advisor before they apply for training. Fee Structure:Users are assessed modest fees to help defray operating costs according to the following fee structure:
