Overview
Our research focuses on improving disease diagnosis through the use of advanced ultrasonic and magnetic resonance imaging techniques. More specifically, we are actively developing methods for visualizing tissue properties, and extending the range of applications for molecular imaging methods based on ultrasound.

April 12th, 2012: Sanghamithra Korukonda successfully defended her Doctoral Thesis - Application of Synthetic Aperture Imaging to Non Invasive Vascular Elastography. Congratulations Dr. Korukonda !
March 2012: Congratulations to Himanshu Shekhar for publishing his research article in the journal Medical Physics .
February 2012: Himanshu Shekhar and Sasoon Torosean (Dartmouth College) presented their research at SPIE Medical Imaging 2012. Himanshu presented a paper on Coded Excitation Subharmonic Imaging. Sasoon presented a paper on Imaging the Kinetics of Drug Delivery, which was carried out in collaboration with our group.
January 2012: Dr. Doyley's review article on Model Based Elastograpy, published in Physics in Medicine and Biology, has been selected as a featured article.This paper also featured as Editor's Choice on Medical Physics Web.
