Overview

Our research focuses on improving disease diagnosis through the use of advanced ultrasonic and magnetic resonance imaging techniques. More specifically, we are actively developing methods for visualizing tissue properties, and extending the range of applications for molecular imaging methods based on ultrasound.

Feb 19th, 2013: Dr. Marvin Doyley's review article on Model Based Elastograpy , published in Physics in Medicine and Biology, has featured in the Highlights of 2012 collection.

Feb 14th, 2013: Himanshu Shekhar, Steve Huntzeicker and Rohit Nayak presented their work at the SPIE Medical Imaging Symposium , held at Orlando, Florida, from 9th to 14th January 2013.

Oct 26th, 2012: Himanshu Shekhar presented his work at the 164th meeting of the Acoustical Society of America, which was held at Kansas City, Missouri from 22nd to 26th October, 2012.
